Initially started this character for Pete Zoppi’s CGMA class. Pete provided excellent feedback that helped me take it to the next level after the class.
Wanted to do my take on cyberpunk, with more “y2k” and less punk. The head/face was made using a combination of Texture.xyz and Zbrush sculpting. The jacket and undersuit were made using a MD simulation for the base then sculpting after on top in Zbrush. And the hard surface chestplate and jaw were blocked out in Zbrush then cleaned up in Maya then back to Zbrush for detail work. Everything was textured in Substance Painter. And rendered in Arnold.
